The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is an immaculate bijou cottage attached to our farmhouse. The cottage has a combined double bedroom, sitting area with two comfortable armchairs and a separate bathroom fitted with a 3-piece suite and shower over the bath.
Badger Cottage
The Badger Cottage features exposed beams and stripped pine doors, giving the cottage a cosy country feel. When you enter the cottage, you will see a spacious open plan kitchen/dining area with a comfortable sitting room. Upstairs, you can find one double bedroom, with a separate bathroom with a 3-piece suite and shower attachment on the bath. This cottage has a pretty and secure patio garden, which is perfect for relaxing in total privacy after a day of exploring.
We are currently refurbing our Badger Cottage which will be ready in time for Valentine’s Day. You will find a new kitchen, flooring throughout and new dining/lounge furnishings. In the bedrooms, we have new bedding, curtains and blinds.
Make the Most of the Half Term
If childcare is an issue and you’re looking for a short getaway with the family, at Low Moor Cottages we also have stunning accommodation sleeping 3 to 6 people. For example, our Stable Cottage has one double bedroom and one single bedroom on the ground floor with a separate wc/shower room. Upstairs, you can find a delightful spacious landing leading to a double bedroom and single bedroom. Plus, a separate bathroom with a 3-piece suite and shower attachment on the bath.
If you are bringing your little one away with you, then we offer cots and highchairs in the cottages as well at no extra cost.

North of our cottages is the route of the old Scarborough to Whitby railway offering sensational vistas as it passes the coastal villages. You can also visit the cliffs, that are studded with fossils and offer beautiful views. Whitby is also the home of Captain Cook and Dracula, so this is a must visit if you are interested in history.
If bustling cities are more your thing, then York is only a 55-minute drive from Low Moor Cottages. There are big brand stores and unique independent shops, as well as many museums to explore, including the National Railway Museum, which is a must! In the evening, you can find lots of stunning bars and restaurants to visit, as well as a multi-screen cinema.
