Alfie Boe with Gravity – 25th July 2027

Simply Red – 17th August 2027

Later in the summer, Simply Red will perform on Tuesday 17th August. The venue currently lists this concert as sold out.

There’s More to Scarborough Than the Open Air Theatre

The concerts may grab the headlines, but they aren’t the only reason to visit Scarborough in 2027. Visit North Yorkshire highlights a varied annual events programme in the town, from arts and cultural events associated with Scarborough Fair to summer motorcycle races at Oliver’s Mount, Armed Forces Day celebrations, Scarborough Cricket Festival and the Scarborough Jazz Festival.

Later in the year, events continue with activities including Autumn Daze and Moonlight on the Lake at Peasholm Park, while the festive period brings celebrations including Scarborough Sparkle.

Alongside the larger events, venues including the Stephen Joseph Theatre and Scarborough Spa provide year-round entertainment encompassing theatre, music, comedy, festivals and film.

That means you don’t necessarily need to plan your visit around one particular event. There’s always plenty to discover alongside the beaches, walks, countryside and attractions that make this part of the Yorkshire Coast such a popular place for a getaway.

Make a Scarborough Event into a Yorkshire Coast Break

Located just outside the village of Scalby, the cottages offer a peaceful countryside setting while remaining within easy reach of Scarborough. The cottages are approximately three miles from Scarborough, with the North Bay beaches around a 10-minute drive away.
